The objectives of the ANZCP:
- To provide a means of communication between clinical perfusionists
- To provide a regulatory body to uphold the standards of perfusion
- To obtain official recognition and acceptance as qualified practising clinical perfusionists
“Every man owes a part of his time and money to the business or industry in which he is engaged. No man has the moral right to withhold his support from an organization that is striving to improve conditions within his sphere.”
The constitution is detailed in the ANZCP Inc rulebook. The rules can only be altered by a resolution of a general meeting of the Society in accordance with the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. The booklet is updated from time to time, the last printing being done in December 2000. The Secretary can provide hard copies of the rule book and details of any rule changes which have occurred since its publication. In October 1997, the Society promulgated it Standards of Practice in Clinical Perfusion in Australasia. Hard copies are available to members from the Secretary.
Details of the ANZCP rule book & Standards may be found in the ‘Members only’ section
