Rose qualified as a Perfusionist in October 2021, achieving the ANZBP Scholarship Award. She completed her Clinical Traineeship with the ANZCP whilst working at The Canberra Hospital & National Capital Private Hospital where she currently works, the unit performs approximately 350 cases per year.
Prior to this Rose was as an experienced Medical Scientist. In her previous role as State wide Coordinator of the Eye Bank SA, she provided advice to The South Australian Transplantation and Organ Donation Advisory Council, The Eye Bank Association of Australia & New Zealand, the National Leadership Team with Donate Life, The Eye Bank’s Quality Review Committee, and the Eye Bank’s Advisory Committee. Rose is an excellent communicator and adept negotiator.
Rose is eager to positively utilise her experience in governance and Perfusion to meaningfully contribute to the many undertakings and responsibilities of the Executive committee. She is committed to working towards a bright future for the Perfusion profession within Australia and New Zealand.
