Vita Minutoli - Victoria
Registrar

My name is Vita, and I’m currently employed as a full time Perfusionist at Geelong University Hospital, Barwon Health, Victoria.
I have worked in the Perfusion profession for several years, commencing as a trainee at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne in 1988. I then travelled to Europe, obtained the EBCP certificate and worked in Germany as an Adult Perfusionist for almost 10 years. It proved to be an amazing experience, being part of a new perfusion unit, learning adult perfusion and traveling across Europe. I still can’t believe how inexpensive it was to purchase return flights with Ryan Air to any major European city, equivalent to the cost of a double cafe macchiato. Leaving Europe, I travelled to New Zealand at the start of 2000 and joined the perfusion team at Auckland City Hospital, where I completed my CCP. I returned to Melbourne in 2005 to join the perfusion team at Epworth Hospital Richmond, followed by St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and finally at University Hospital Geelong.
When times are less hectic, I enjoy gardening and being in nature. As a new experience, I look forward to the Registrar role, assisting you as best as I can, together with the Executive Committee. Thank you for your support.
