My name is Jenny, and I am a dedicated adult and paediatric perfusionist currently working at Auckland City Hospital and Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. Auckland City Hospital and Starship Children hospital leads the national ECMO/transplant service and VADs/ berlin for New Zealand.

After training with the ANZBP, I started my perfusion career in 2021, with a background of nursing in the cardiac OR. I am passionate about my work and committed to advancing the field of perfusion through continuous learning and collaboration with the team.  Currently I am leading the liver portfolio in Auckland City hospital to  develop a programme for normothermic regional perfusion, as well as looking after VVB and ex vivo liver perfusion. I also work closely with paediatric ECMO training in starship children’s hospital. Outside of perfusion, I enjoy travelling and photography. I look forward to participating in the ordinary member role for the executive committee.
