The Board requires evaluations and logbooks to be submitted at specific milestones throughout the training program. This process ensures that trainees are progressing appropriately, provides opportunities for meaningful feedback from supervisors, and encourages trainees to reflect on their development and training experience to date. These include:
- Case Evaluations / Reflections submitted every 20 cases
- Case Logbook submitted every 20 cases
- Case Observation submitted for every unit visited

- A minimum of 10 clinical observations in the alternate patient population (ie paediatric if from adult unit)
- A minimum of 5 observations from another unit
