Call for Papers

The ANZCP Annual Scientific Meeting organising committee invites abstracts for presentation at the upcoming ASM. 

The abstract deadline is Friday the 4th of October.

Oral presentations may consist of original investigations, literature reviews, clinical techniques or case reports.  At this stage we are offering our standard time for these presentations (12 or 20 minute timeslot, including 3-4 minutes for questions) however this may change when we finalise the program.  

Abstracts will be published in the ANZCP Gazette.

If you are a first time presenter help and guidance is available!  Read on below for useful tips or please reach out via admin@anzcp.org for one of our friendly and experienced volunteers to assist you.

Submission Instructions

Abstracts are an excellent opportunity to contribute to the learning exchange and professional development within your College and amongst colleagues who share an interest in your work. Here is the 2024 ANZCP Abstract Submission Guide.

We encourage all people to consider submitting an Abstract for our ASM. You do not have to be an expert writer or researcher to submit a proposal – we encourage anybody who has new and exciting ideas to apply. Writing an abstract may not come easy to some, so we have collated some tips to think about here we hope you find useful!

The judging criteria for awards is available to read here and may assist presenters understand what judges critique assessing an Award presentation.

ASM Presenter Agreement

Acting as a speaker / presenter at the ANZCP ASM, 21-23 November 2024, in presence and/or virtual represent that the content of my presentation is my own and I hold it legitimately, that I have all the exclusive rights of economic exploitation on it and that it does not adversely affect third parties’ rights. This content is original, accurate, balanced, objective, processed without any conditioning by third parties, of high scientific quality and provable. Therefore, I am solely responsible for this content.

It is understood that my speech and the related documents shall be live transmitted, recorded, reproduced and made available “on demand” in full compliance with its content and shall be associated with my name and surname. I shall retain the right of paternity of the speech and the documents, with no right of the aforesaid companies/entities to make changes to the content (except for merely technical reasons, for example, formatting in line with the means used) without my prior written consent.

I understand and give permission for my presentation to appear on the ANZCP website following the ASM conclusion (23 November 2024). Following that date the recording may be made available to website viewers at the discretion of the ANZCP.
